Using a Foodprint Calculator (slides 2-6)

Students work with the online calculator to check their personal Foodprint.

Slides 3-6 contain comparable examples of two diets: one vegan and one with high meat consumption. You can use these for class discussion or ask students to share their screen images from the Foodprint calculator.

Discussion (Slide 7)

In small groups (or pairs) and then reporting to the class. How did my diet score (focus on scores of foods and diets, not of students)?

Since Cultivated Meat is not yet on the market and will take some years to be economically viable, what other changes or strategies can we use to improve our FoodPrint? Encourage students to think about improving their behavior and a community-level strategy.
